What i understand from the prof’s comment is these upper class colonised institutes have found a new way in keeping away the people from the lower class societies, even when reservation policies exist. These people use a very word talent for all their own community needs. The very word talent is by itself more subjective and depends on who and in which context he actually makes it. People from rural areas might not know to communicate in english as fluently as these upper class people and might not have the prvilege to get the so called bookish education, these uppper class people are entitled too. But they are highly enterprenial and they will build all huge companies, where these so called talented upper class people are fit for working. I have no intention of hurting any one. Even after 50 years independence, the fruits of it hasn’t reached the scheduled caste. In one side the politicians cheat them and on the other side upper class people sitting in the institutions , which have been created for their upliftment colonise it for their community needs. You guys pray god, go and touch your heart and think and do things for the benefit humanity. If we dont do such things, one day these upper class people’s wife and children cannot sleep because of a simple factor social and economic inequality.

but i wanna ask one question, if someone is having a political party what are the chances that we will win. In this dirty game of politics simple students political party wont survive. even if all students/professional vote still a vast majority of India votes for BIG parties.

Pranab, I too am from IITD and agree with aeverything that professor Bala said. I do no think protests are bringing results and ever will. It is time all protestors changed their movement into a political one and announced a new political party that will scrap caste based reservation on their own.

Thanks for visiting my blog. You mentioned how to make anybody listen? I sent emails about my suggestions to both the PM and President and have the feeling to that nonone is listening. Perhaps there is a feeling amongst politicians that professionals look after there own interests so they should be allowed to look aftet their own, and the present course is in the best interests of the politician. That is the reason they are mostly unanimous about it.

Eventually I think professionals may have to make their own political alliance, fight elections etc. if they wish their opinion to be heard ther is more on this in a post of mine at ohohindia.blogspot.com
