Trying FB Connect


Last few weeks have been extremely busy and was completely away from Blogging and Podcasting. Today I had some time and tried WP-FB Connect Plugin to enable commenting on my blog using Facebook login. Seems like it is working now, but I am more excited about the feature where we can have comments in thread format. At this time you can see an addition option “Connect with your Facebook Account” while commenting. So, basically it acts like OpenID with a little bit social feature.

Tried the Sociable plugin which can help build FB community for your site, but I am facing issues with FB login button, will have to work on it.

    1. I can’t see anything on the sidebar for FB.
    2. I click ‘f|connect’ – it logs me in, then logs me out. WTF?
    3. My openID isn’t working on your blog. Why?

    1. There is nothing on sidebar, last time I showed you page, it was test for Sociable plugin. I will work on it later.

    2. I can connect easily to it, but will look into it. There seems to be some issue, I can’t figure out what is causing it.

    3. I guess you posted comment using open ID, what do you mean by not working?

    wrt OpenID I told you on chat, while at other times I keep getting multiple POSTs happening, I know not why.

    At least I think they’re POSTs.
