Red-naped Ibis

Migratory Bird

Migratory Bird

Just saw this migratory bird at our office. Can anyone identify this bird for me? I know of migratory birds coming from Siberia to Rajasthan. This might be from the same pack and has travelled further south.

Many people have identified this bird on Twitter/Facebook as Red-naped Ibis. So definitely it was not a migratory bird as I imagined, but seems a rare bird as I haven’t seen it before in this area.

@Aravinda @Michael Thanks for clearing the doubt. As I check, this is not a migratory bird, our own Black Ibis :)
