Beautiful Konkan Route

Beautiful Konan Route shot with my D40 at 60 miles per hour. A series of tunnels, bridges, seaside, waterfalls, paddy fields, and gorgeous hills on west coast makes a perfect journey and one never realizes it took 36 hours to complete the journey. For first time I tried to cover it with my camera and here are the results. More pictures of Kerala Backwaters in next post.

Traveling through Konkarn Railways and admiring the natural beauty, this factory strikes as a big pain. A low exposure shot from fast moving train was enough to capture the yellow fumes and story.

Lake Palace, Udaipur

Lake Palace coming to glory again after the first rain. Lake Pichola is starting to get water and that is a very important thing for citizens of Udaipur. Couldn’t resisting capturing it from Gangaur Ghat.

Peacock outside my house in Ahmedabad. It was almost dark and muddy. After numerous attempts, I had to switch on flash and shoot this one. Background reduces the beauty but colors have come out fine.

Empire State Building

While walking from Time Square we got this beautiful view of Empire State Building and Moon peeking from behind. It was a very cold and windy night and without tripod, it took a lot of effort to keep the camera still.
