Yesterday I saw Blood Diamond and was shocked to my core. I was aware of the term conflict diamonds and the cruelty behind it, but never realized how strong it was or how many people suffer because of diamonds. The scene where Solomon meets his son Dia and he refuses to recognize him, brought tears in my eyes.

Even we have some methods (Kimberley Process Certification Scheme) to remove conflict diamonds from market but I have decided for me ‘Diamonds are for Never ‘
